Overview

Richard and Mike came to us with an idea, which they thought could revolutionize score and record keeping in hockey. The idea wasn't original, but the way they wanted to execute their plan was. They gave us pretty simple instructions, “Take this paper game sheet, get it to work on an iPad and build a system around it so players, teams, and leagues can really benefit by what technology can provide.” We completely understood where they wanted to go and how it could work. Soon, Richard and Mike’s goal of never using ink or paper again started to come to life.

Results

Prior to the GameSheet, most digital game sheets failed to gain traction in the market as they lacked features and could not record required information and maintain league formatting. So we first worked with Richard to define a product that had the features to succeed in his market. The GameSheet system includes an iPad App for officials to enter game information, a web application for the management of game sheets and even a statistics viewer. The GameSheet raises the bar for digital game sheets. It collects and stores the same information as traditional game sheets, but also provides advanced archiving and reporting as well as instantaneous delivery of completed game sheets to league officials. It even collects the signatures of game officials.
