iTunes Credentials Email

We have seen a couple of incidents this morning of what appear to be emails from iTunes asking users to update their account info etc.

A quick look at the sender's email address plus some typo howlers in the body copy quickly confirmed our initial thoughts that this is not genuine. It's just a phishing scam.

If you have received this email purporting to be from iTunes, don't click the link and certainly do not enter any personal information or financial details. Just hit delete.

This is what arrived in my inbox today:

Wondering why you got this email?
It's sent when someone adds or changes a contact email address for an Apple ID account. If you didn't do this, don't worry. Your email address cannot be used as a contact address for an Apple ID without your verification.
